MARK Cain and Trevor Krause hauled themselves up to joint-second in the Collier Plant Hire/Evening Press Knights player-of-the-year rankings with their displays at Hull KR last week.
Cain was a constant threat, and got both York's tries in a man-of-the-match show. The three points took his tally to seven, one behind Chris Smith.
Krause was his usual hard-working self and again lived up to his billing as a team player, and earned two points which took his tally to seven as well.
The final point went to Paul Broadbent, who again showed his class at prop.
Standings: Smith 8pts, Cain 7, Krause 7, Hayes 5, Jackson 5, Broadbent 5, Fletcher 3, Callaghan 3, Ramsden 3, Godfrey 3, Hallas 3, Lloyd 1, Bolus 1.
