A MOTORCYCLIST was in a poorly but stable condition in York Hospital today following an accident near Easingwold.
Lee Whiting, of Northallerton, suffered serious leg injuries when he came off his machine at the junction of the A19 and Forest Lane at Alne yesterday afternoon.
The accident, which happened at about 4pm, involved a trailer being pulled by a Land Rover.
In a separate accident, just before 1pm, three people were injured in a collision between a Volkswagen Caddy truck and a Ford minibus in Kilburn Road, at Coxwold, near Easingwold.
A man was cut free from his vehicle by firefighters and taken to Friarage Hospital by air ambulance suffering from a suspected broken arm and internal injuries.
The minibus driver was taken to hospital by ambulance, with a suspected broken wrist.
Police today named one of the injured men as Andy Holgate, who was kept overnight for observation.
