Tadcaster ladies I confirmed their promotion to the first division of the Yorkshire Women's Hockey League with a spectacular 8-0 thumping of Leeds Owls.
Becky Cattle scored her second hat-trick of the season with other goals coming from Sarah Pedder (2), Susie Richmond (2) and vice-captain Stacey Wilton, who goal was a brilliant solo effort, dribbling past four defenders before firing home from the edge of the 'D'.
The Tadcaster women will wrap up their season with a game against league leaders Sheffield.
Tadcaster men I were also in hot goal-scoring form, thumping Sheffield University Bankers VII 6-1 in Yorkshire League division five.
Rob Bishop scored his first hat-trick for Tad, whose other goals came from Matt Kingsbury, Phil Wilson and Nick Lunn.
In division eight, Tadcaster men II drew 0-0 at Slazengers IV.
