AM I alone or particularly sensitive to the advertising I saw on an East Riding double-deck bus on a school run to Woldgate School, Pocklington?
The bus was painted black on both sides and back with prominent white lettering advertising the clothing firm French Connection.
At the back was the slogan FCUK and very little else, so you could not miss it.
To my mind this has very obvious sexual connotations with what I regard to be the present day too-frequently used Anglo-Saxon language.
I found it deeply offensive and not the kind of example to be used on a school bus.
I should like to see some way for this type of advertising to be made illegal.
I hope that French Connection reconsider its advertising on the grounds of common decency.
