SINNINGTON hit their semi-final opponents Old Malton 3rds for six to reach the RJF Homes Beckett League Gordon Harrison Memorial Trophy final.

Lee Mitchell, Joseph Turnbull, Gary Mitchell and Rob Atkinson gave Sinnington a 4-0 lead in the first half. Old Malton's keeper Andy Raine went off injured when the score was 3-0. Mitchell and substitute Jonathan Campbell scored in the second half.

In the final, Sinnington will play Kirkbymoorside Reserves, who won their semi-final 3-1 against Duncombe Park.

Nicky Hodgson put the Moorsiders ahead following a cross from his son Chris. Rob McDermid made it 2-0 and early in the second half Tom Gill for the third goal for the Moorsiders. In the last minute Duncombe Park were awarded a penalty and Liam Ogunshakin scored from the spot.

In division one of the league Black Swan, Pickering, scored six goals in the last half hour to win 7-4 at Rosedale, who had led 3-1.

David Gillies opened the scoring for Rosedale after nine minutes and three minutes later Steve Sailes equalised. Adam Burkinshaw put Rosedale 2-1 ahead after 33 minutes with a 20 yard free kick.

Martin Myers put Rosedale further ahead after 54 minutes. Black Swan then scored six goals in twenty minutes. Sailes netted after 64 and 68 minutes to complete his hat-trick and he went on to notch a fourth goal after 84 minutes.

Black Swan's other marksmen were teve Bourne (71 minutes), Andrew Laidlaw (78 minutes) and Mike Thomas (80 minutes). Just before the final whistle Myers scored his second for Rosedale.

In division two Pickering Royal Oak won 3-2 away to Heslerton Reserves. Damon Cox put Royal Oak ahead after 12 minutes following food work by Adam Hornby. Andy Sellers equalised and then Cox restored Royal Oak's lead before the interval.

Royal Oak's keeper Mark Strangeway scored with a clearance kick in the second half. The home team's keeper was distracted by Cox running into the penalty area and the ball bounced past him into the goal.

Cass pulled one back for Heslerton six minutes from the end and in the dying seconds Strangeway saved what would have been an equaliser.

Pickering Royal Oak's Scarborough and District FA Junior Cup final against Edgehill Reserves will be played at Pickering Town's ground on Wednesday, April 9, at 7.30pm.

Coxwold beat visitors Ampleforth 5-1 after leading 4-0 at half-time with two goals by Jason Sargent and one each from Sam Preston and Tom Kat. Ten-man Ampleforth pulled a goal back early in the second half and Kay completed the scoring for Coxwold.

Scorers for Black Bull, Thirsk, in their 7-1 win at home to Gillamoor were Gary Stamper with two and James Blacklock, David Peet (penalty), Danny Drake, Sam Robinson and James Cook. Black Bull led 2-1 at the interval. Mark Pearse scored for Gillamoor.

Ryedale Sports Club Reserves won 4-0 away to Bagby and Balk to complete a league double over Bagby.

After 15 minutes John Reed chipped the ball over the Bagby keeper from 20 yards out to open the scoring. Ten minutes later a long free kick by Steve Walker found Nick Woodhead, who chipped the ball over the keeper from 20 yards out.

Just before half-time a long throw by Phil Hutchinson was headed on by Reed for Woodhead to score from close range. Substitute Steve Ellis scored in the second half
