TALENTED York student Ollie Brown has set his sights on the West End after winning a place on one of the country's most prestigious theatre courses.
The 17-year-old York College student beat off thousands of applicants to be among only a handful of people to get on the stage managers' course at the Bristol Old Vic.
Ollie, of Stamford Bridge, now dreams of being in charge behind the scenes at a top West End musical such as Fame or Blood Brothers.
"It's the top course of its kind in the country," he said.
"I'm delighted. I've been into acting all my life, but felt much more at ease working behind the scenes.
"Getting on the course almost assures me of a job at the end of it."
Ollie is now planning a party with his friends and family to celebrate.
