A ROMANIAN pianist, who spent a year at an East Yorkshire school, is to return for a special recital.
Michaela Fodor, who studied at Pocklington School in 2000 on a Silvestri scholarship, will perform music by Chopin, Beethoven and Debussy in the school's Tom Stoppard centre on Wednesday. Michaela, from Cluj in northwest Romania, was the school's second Silvestri Scholar. Tickets for the concert, £4 for adults and £2 for concessions, are available from the school reception or on the door.
