PEOPLE living in Askham Bryan, near York, are being warned to be on their guard against a crime spree in their village.
Police said there had been 11 incidents in two days in the village, including house and shed burglaries and thefts from motor vehicles.
Sergeant Colin Ventress said: "People should be aware and take precautions. "Make sure premises and vehicles are secure at all times. If anyone has seen people or vehicles acting suspiciously in the Askham Bryan area then please get in touch."
