FIVE more successes in the thrilling defeat of Doncaster last week moved Graeme Hallas up to third in the goal-kicking table for National League players.
Hallas fluffed a couple of kickable goal attempts but nevertheless took his tally to 27, five behind second-placed Darren Holt, of Whitehaven, and 15 behind runaway leader Barry Eaton, of Batley Bulldogs.
The former Huddersfield centre, now assistant to Paul Broadbent at Huntington Stadium, also moved up to sixth in the point-scoring charts, having also scored a try against the Dragons.
At the beginning of the season, the Knights weren't sure who should take the kicks, but Hallas has so far proved he has a worthy boot. The fact he is up there in the charts also shows that the Knights are a genuinely good attacking force.
