Former York City goalkeeper Alan Fettis has been called up by Northern Ireland for the first time in five years for the back-to-back Euro 2004 qualifiers against Armenia and Greece.
Manager Sammy McIlroy has turned to Belfast-born Fettis, 33, who left Bootham Crescent for Hull City in January, as understudy to Fulham's Maik Taylor following the withdrawal of Manchester United's Roy Carroll because of family reasons. Fettis last played international football in 2-2 home draw against Moldova in November 1998.
