SPRING has truly sprung in York, if this picture is anything to go by.
This blossom, resplendent in the recent March sunshine, was seen by Evening Press staff photographer Mike Tipping, who captured this seasonal image against the backdrop of the
famous York landmark, Holgate Windmill, currently missing its sails.
A project is under way to renovate the windmill, which is an important reminder of a bygone era in the city.
