A PEACE camp protest which was moved on from a famous York landmark, is today up and running at another.
Two days ago York Against the War protesters set up a peace camp at Clifford's Tower.
But after a request from City of York Council they agreed to move on and are now camped at the Millennium Bridge, near Rowntree Park.
Helen Graham, spokeswoman for the protesters, said: "The council were very pleasant and helpful. We did not want to get into a confrontation.
"We will keep some presence at Clifford's Tower but it will be on a smaller scale."
