Bus driver Justin Piercy swapped the sedate roads of North Yorkshire for an edge-of-the-seat experience at a motor racing circuit.
The 29-year-old Yorkshire Coastliner driver was given the opportunity to fulfil a lifelong dream to try his hand at motor sport.
Justin, of Malton, was taking part in filming for a cable TV programme where a professional driver taught him new driving skills at the Palmer Sport Autodrome in Bedford.
The show gave former go-karting track manager Justin, who has dreamed of becoming a racing driver, the chance to show off his skills behind the wheel of a Caterham Ford. He said: "I always wanted to drive for Yorkshire Coastliner. It's the company I grew up with and when the chance of a driver's job came up last August I immediately applied.
"I love my work bus driving, but the thrill of motor sport is something quite different and I just couldn't miss the chance."
Justin will appear in the Men And Motors series on UK Premiere, which begins this Sunday at 9.30pm.
