Joseph Rowntree dominated the York Under-13 'A' and 'B' netball tournaments on their home courts on Saturday.
The Jo Ro 'A' squad of Bathan Sissons (capt), Sarah Corbett, Emily Shaw, Katherine Fowler, Katrina Woodcock, Danielle Hughes, Jenny Murdoch and Emily Mantle won all but one of their games. They beat Huntington 6-0, Millthorpe 7-3, All Saints 4-2, Bootham 8-1 and St Olaves', who finished as runners-up, 10-5. The Mount were the only side to beat Jo Ro, winning 7-6.
Joseph Rowntree and St Olave's were joint winners of the 'B' tournament, both sides winning three games and losing one.

The York Primary Schools Netball Rally, involving 38 schools, is being held this Saturday (8.45am start).
Large schools will be in action at Woodthorpe, intermediate and small schools at Hob Moor and mini and micro schools at Lowfield.
The five group winners will play in a mini-tournament in May to determine the overall winners.
