ACOMB completed a clean sweep in the Hunters the Estate Agent Indoor Cricket League with two big wins over the bottom two clubs, Thirsk and Bolton Percy.
The champions have won all ten of their league games -- a feat they also achieved in 1993-94.
The day was a personal triumph for all-rounder Richard Sykes, who made 49 and 41 to take his aggregate total to 434. That created a record beating the previous mark of 410 set by Thorp Arch's Mick McKay in 1988-89.
Sykes has also taken over as the competition's leading run scorer and has also now notched more scores above 25 than any other player.
Selby's Colin Banks almost smashed his way into the record books.
He reached an unbeaten 84 - the second highest individual score in the league's 18-year history - as his side successfully completed the best-ever run chase to beat Rowntrees 'B' by one wicket in division two.
Rowntrees posted 158-4 but were stunned by Banks' blitz, which included 30 off the final two overs.
