A NEW exhibition to promote the learning opportunities involved in the creative world will start at York Barbican Centre tomorrow.
Creative Futures is the final event in the city's popular Festival of Discovery.
Organisers hope to attract more than 1,000 visitors, ranging from school children interested in studying creative subjects to adults looking to retrain or extend their skill base.
More than exhibitors will attend, including representatives from the music, film, media, publishing, arts, theatre and tourism industries.
Event organiser, Mark Brayshaw of Rockin' Horse Promotions said: "At the exhibition we want to bring people interested in working, training or learning about the creative and cultural industries face to face with those organisations that can provide those opportunities. The creative world of work is fast expanding and we hope that this exhibition will help fire people's imagination and encourage them to get involved."
It will run between 1pm and 7pm.
