DOZENS of business people and voluntary and community group members in York and North Yorkshire will meet for a "princely pow-wow" on Thursday. They will converge on the Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Skelton, York.
All 45 professional members of organisers, the Yorkshire branch of Business in the Community, have signed up to ProHelp, the mutual business-voluntary sector scheme which is backed by the Prince of Wales. Firms will get the opportunity to share their knowledge and support to improve their local community and a chance to network with other ProHelp signatories. Voluntary groups get free advice and help from private sector professionals. For more information, phone Deborah Siswick, of ProHelp, on 01423 779763.
