WEARING my "Don't Attack Iraq" lapel badge in Singapore recently, I was delighted at the response from a wide selection of Chinese, Indians and Malays in that multi-racial city.
Shaking my hand, they agreed vigorously that war is a bad idea.
I was happy to counter the impression, which had reached them through TV and the press, that most of Britain is pro-war.
