I've got some interesting activities this week. If you like dance music then you'll enjoy Party/Commercial at Ikon and Diva on Fridays.
On Saturdays at the Gallery is Club Culture, which plays a mixture of commercial dance and Sixties music. So that should be fun if you are into that.
For something a little different how about some comedy? The Other Side Comedy Club at City Screen shows various stand-up comics throughout the year and is really enjoyable if you fancy a laugh. It's different every night. If costs £5 in the Basement Bar. For more information, go to cityscreen.com
At the cinema, I've been to see Maid In Manhattan and it is worth a look. It is a chick flick but the little boy is really great in it - definitely a future star in the making.
As for gigs, well playing at Fibbers tonight are One Finger Punch, Three Left Feet, Enthused and A Pointless Aim. If their music is half as good as their names then it's worth going to see them. It's always a great atmosphere at Fibbers.
So if you fancy any of that then you know where you should be this weekend. Have a cracker!
