AFTER three thrilling days of top-class jumping fare at the Cheltenham Festival, it's back to a bread-and-butter diet tomorrow, with one all-weather Flat meeting, and two ordinary National Hunt fixtures on the menu.

The Best Yet possesses the sort of name headline-writers love, and Tony Newcombe's sprinter could live up to star billing at Lingfield.

The five-year-old is unbeaten in two outings on the Polytrack surface and is trained by a man who has had his horses in good heart all winter.

Simon Whitworth takes the mount on The Best Yet, who is napped to come home in front in division one of the Bet Direct on ITV Page 367 Handicap.

Malton jockey Paul Hanagan makes the journey to the Surrey course to partner Jodeeka in the second division of this six-furlongs dash.

Jeremy Glover's sprinter was a little below-form here last time, but had previously won on the course.

Getting the run of the race seems important to Jodeeka, who should not be overlooked, despite having to carry top-weight.

Glover can also lift the Bet Direct Fillies' Handicap with Mana Pools. A course and distance winner a fortnight ago, Jimmy Fortune's mount has every chance of following-up in this ten furlongs event.

Kieren Fallon, who will start the defence of his championship next week when the turf campaign opens at Doncaster, can get his name on the Lingfield scoreboard.

Fallon teams-up with Strength 'N Honour, a horse held in high regard last season by his trainer Charles Cyzer. A winning start to his three-year-old campaign is on the cards in the Littlewoods Bet Direct Maiden Stakes.

The in-form Orthodox (4-20) and the likewise hat-trick seeking Queensberry (4-50) are two others to note at Lingfield.

The best of the jumping action promises to come from Fakenham, where the £10,000 Tim Barclay Memorial Handicap Chase looks a good opportunity for Mr Bossman to return to the winning trail.

Successful at Kempton last month, Richard Guest's smart gelding lost no caste in defeat when chasing home Europa at Doncaster last time. A reproduction of that form would probably be good enough to see him home in front tomorrow.

Take The Stand will not be short on supporters in the Norfolk Countryside Alliance Novices' Chase. Ian Williams' charge ran a fair race when finishing second at Leicester last time and with promising 7lb claimer William Worthington in the saddle, he is fancied to go one better.
