YORK RUFC U13s are through to face Harrogate in the Yorkshire Cup final after a scintillating 25-0 win over last year's beaten U12s' finalists West Park Bramhope.
Ashman, Milligan, Watson and Hawking scored tries and Leigh a penalty and conversion to record victory over the only side to beat them in the past two seasons.
This means the Clifton Park juniors are now into their fourth Yorkshire Cup final in five years.
Holders York St John's College crashed out of the Yorkshire Uni-versities Cup at the first hurdle.
St John's, champions in 2001 and 2002, were under-strength and their tries came from back-row forwards Al Gunter and Nathan Ashman.
Heidworth managed to keep St John's in the game by converting both and scoring two penalties.
Nathan Foster was St John's man of the match.
St John's were playing their University Challenge game with the University of York at Clifton Park this afternoon.
Perhaps it was a case of after the Lord's Mayor Show, but after the previous week's Yorkshire Cup heroics, York RI U16s played poorly as they lost 34-7 against a much improved Malton and Norton.
RI were two tries down before the RI finally woke and it took a rolling maul to get them on the scoreboard, with Rory Robertson credited with the try.
However, despite briefly playing up to their normal standards, poor organisation in defence and then general lethargy crept in allowing the visitors to run away with the match.
York RI U14s slipped to a 23-14 defeat despite a spirited first half performance at Goole.
RI were quickly into their stride and scored tries through Chris Richardson and Matt Thomson, with Paul Fernandez converting both to see the visitors reach the half-way stage 14-5 up.
With the wind in their favour RI looked to be on course for a well-merited away win before a late flurry of tries by the home team against the tiring short-handed RI lads saw Goole snatch victory.
