Hundreds of couples turned out at the Moat House Hotel for the Evening Press Spring Wedding Fair yesterday.
Nearly 40 exhibitors, specialising in everything from wedding insurance to the big-day discos, were on hand to help visitors plan their nuptials.
Models from the Louise Morton agency, in Huddersfield, put on a show of wedding fashions in front of a captivated audience.
Events co-ordinator Wendy Neale said: "It is always a good day. This event has been three months in the planning.
"People started queuing up to half-an-hour before we opened and we were expecting loads of visitors.
"We had 39 exhibitors covering the whole of the wedding experience. This is one of our biggest exhibitions."
