A KNIFEPOINT robber has been jailed for a series of attacks.
Ian Shiels, prosecuting, told York Crown Court how Gary John Lane, 36, staged two attacks within 90 minutes in January.
The victims were young men working alone at the Blackamoor Hotel, Ripon, and a petrol station in Ripon Road, Harrogate.
Lane went on to rob or attempt to rob a second Harrogate petrol station, a Wakefield newsagents and a Wakefield garage in the next four days.
Lane, of Park Lodge Lane, Wakefield, pleaded guilty to four robberies and one attempted robbery and was jailed for six years.
