The University Students Men's 'A' team kept up their push for the men's division one title with two good home wins - a 7-2 success over IT Sports followed by an 8-1 downing of Drax 'A'.
Russell Binns and James Croll were again in tremendous form for the Students, recording wins in the two matches for a total of 180-77.
IT Sports bounced back in their next match to record a 9-0 demolition of Shepherds. Paul Hardcastle and Paul Blackett played particularly well for the home team taking three in straight games for a total of 90-41.
Clifton 'A' also an 8-1 home win over RI Tuesday/Thursday 'A'.
Ian Shore and K Wilson starred for Clifton with three wins for 90-17, while Ian Sinker and Wasten Siallagan took the consolation with a 15-13, 3-15, 15-4 over D Woofson and S Taylor.
Shepherds recorded a 6-3 home win over a depleted Selby Jubilee team.
The best display of the match came from Jubilee's Neil Richardson and Franny Millivojevic who took all three wins for 106-81.
Riverside extended their lead with two more wins, an 8-1 home win over Pocklington was followed by a 7-2 away win over RI Tuesday/Thursday 'B'.
Geoff Oxley and Craig Dobson were in great form for Riverside. In both matches they took six from six played for a two-match total of 180-60.
University Students 'B', in second place in men's two, had mixed fortunes with a 2-7 away defeat at Rowntrees, then winning 6-3 at home to third-placed Drax 'B'.
Ben Tilley and Pete Robinson took both Student wins at Rowntrees, while Pete Gosnold and Sam Gardner top-scored against Drax with three straight wins for 90-51.
Knavesmire visited St John's in and played well to score a narrow 5-4 win.
Liam Whittington and Dave Dearsley took three Student Teacher wins for 90-38, but Paul Rogers and Dave Brogden sealed the win with a 5 and 2 success over P Gibson and D Wells.
Drax and University Student Ladies fought out a 4-4 draw in a time-affected ladies division one match.
Highlight of the match was Nicky Roe and Heather Turner taking three student wins including a tough 7-15, 15-11, 15-12 over Alison Dinsdale and Angela Spivey.
YUSC 'A' travelled to Drax 'D' in mixed three and won 5-3 in another time-affected match. Andy Brown and Rachel Adamson swung the match in Staff Club's favour with a 13-15, 15-5, 15-12 over Ken Walker and Jan Conyers in the seventh rubber of the match.
Huntington 'B' maintained top place in mixed four with a 5-4 away win over RI Tuesday/Thursday 'B'.
The match was effectively decided in the opening rubber in which John Deighton and Margaret Chambers beat Matt Hitchins and Ellen Mooney 15-4, 2-15, 17-14.
Hitchens and Mooney went on to take two rubbers, while Deighton and Chambers eventually took all three for a total of 94-58.
Tadcaster visited Pocklington 'B' and also won 5-4 in a close match.
Gill Gavin and Andrew Cooper were Tadcaster's match-winners with three good wins for a total of 90-47, while Martin Buckle and Sheila Fixter took two home wins but lost 8 and 12 to Gavin and Cooper.
