FOUR players from York Acorn are set to play a part in rugby league's new National League Three.
Mick Hagan, Lee Frank, Dave Norman and Paul Dodsworth have signed for former Summer Conference big-guns Teesside Steelers, who are one of the ten teams to have taken the plunge by entering the new league.
The quartet - Norman and Dodsworth have previously played for Steelers - have signed up in time for the start of that league's summer season. They will continue to play for Acorn until their winter season is over and will return for next season.
Acorn spokesman Paul Lumby said: "Playing rugby all year round won't be easy but we wish them good luck and hope they come back strong."
