YORK City Schools' Under-11s' football team have reached the final of the Yorkshire Cup after a thrilling 2-1 victory over Hull.
The scores were level at full-time but York had created the better chances.
Joel Dixon had come closest for York with a thunderous 30-yard drive which hit the woodwork.
York broke the deadlock in extra time when Murray McClusker fired home from close range after Hull failed to clear a corner.
York made the game safe and scored their second when captain Tom Corner prodded home from within the penalty area. Hull scored a consolation at the end of the game.
York entertain Barnsley in the league at York Sixth Form College on Saturday, March 8 (10.30am).

The following Saturday, March 15, the City Boys' Under-11s' compete in the English Schools' FA Seven-a-side finals at Chester-le-Street.

Knavesmire beat Bishopthorpe 3-0 to progress to the quarter-finals of the Primary Schools' Cup and will now play Barlby Bridge.

Under 14 Cup: Archbishop's or Burnholme v Selby, Canon Lee or Millthorpe v Tadcaster, Fulford v Huntington, Barlby v Lowfield or All Saints.
Under 13 Cup: Joseph Rowntree or Brayton v Sherburn, Archbishop's v Canon Lee, Huntington v Millthorpe or Barlby, Tadcaster v Oaklands.

Haxby Road, St Mary's and Scarcroft have all withdrawn from the Primary Cup competition.
There will be an extension to the Primary League season until Friday, May 2, and the tournament to determine the overall winners of the Primary League will be held on Saturday, May 20, at a venue to be arranged.
