MOTORISTS have been warned not to leave valuables in their cars after a spate of thefts from unattended vehicles.
Thieves have broken into twelve vehicles across Ryedale since Saturday, stealing hundreds of pounds of belongings.
Community safety officer, Sergeant Cliff Edens, said they did not believe all of the thefts were linked. "There seems to be no pattern, no links between the thefts," he said. The thefts have happened in Hawnby, Pickering, Amotherby, Norton, and Westow.
