Yorkshire's leading printing companies together generate more than £700 million for the region's economy, according to a new survey from chartered accountants RSM Robson Rhodes.
The annual survey, compiled with printing trade magazine Printweek, concludes that 36 Yorkshire printing firms, among them GA Pindar & Sons, of Scarborough, generated £703.7 million of the £15.6 billion contributed by the top 500 printing companies in the UK. Among new entrants to the top 500 are Encore Direct plc, at Long Marston, York (158) and York Mailing Ltd on the Elvington Industrial Estate (180).
