YORKIES flocked to top city attraction the Barley Hall today for medieval fun and games as part of the Residents First weekend.
The weekend is organised to give a thankyou to city residents from the tourism industry, and opens 34 tourist attractions for free or at low rates.
Special activities include exciting archery and ratcatcher games, along with music from the Trouvere medieval minstrels.
The hall has also launched a new project looking at the history of the Coffee Yard, in which residents are being asked to help record memories and supply pictures.
The historical town house is offering residents cheap rates from February on proof of address.
Residents Feast is also being run, which gives set-price deals for residents at 16 of the city's best eateries.
