SIX students from Queen Margaret's School, Escrick, and Tadcaster Grammar School are celebrating after being offered places at Oxford and Cambridge.
Lauren Owen and Anoushka Kenley, from Queen Margaret's School have been offered places at Oxford, and Anna Fell, also from Queen Margaret's School has been offered a place at Cambridge.
Lauren will study English, and Anoushka will study politics, philosophy and economics.
Anna is to study land management.
Martin Baker, head of sixth form, said: "We are delighted for them, they have done extremely well."
Tadcaster Grammar School youngsters Chris Buckley and James Green have been offered places at Cambridge to study maths, and Francesca Drake, also at Tadcaster, has been offered a place at Oxford to study law.
Head teacher Geoff Mitchell said he was particularly pleased as it marked the fourth year that sixth-form students had gained Oxbridge places.
