THE Grand Opera House, in York, has laid out its entertainment plans for the next season.
They include bringing to York Just Good Friends star Paul Nicholas and former Eastenders and Footballers' Wives actress Gillian Taylforth.
The theatre will be covered in ice for Nutcracker On Ice and Sensational Ice, while dance fans will be tempted by Swan Lake, Tap Dogs and Spirit Of The Dance.
Comedians include stand-ups Ross Noble and Ed Byrne, while regular Ken Dodd will make a return for his annual show.
The theatre, which describes itself as the region's West End, is visited by 100,000 people every year.
