Railway Institute Ladies enjoyed an 8-1 home win over Rowntrees in ladies' division one of the York Badminton League.
Nicola Coggins and Ann Murray top-scored for the home team with three wins for 90-11, while Emma Andrews and Helen Shepherd took the consolation with a 15-11, 10-15, 15-10 win over Joyce Petch and Helen Shepherd.
The Railway Institute men's team, playing in men's one, kept up their good home record with a 7-2 win over IT Sports.
Paul Turner and Mike Jones took the home honours with three wins for 90-44, while Paul Hardcastle and Stuart Fieldhouse put in a gritty display for the visitors.
Knavesmire proved too strong for St John's in men's two and scored a convincing 9-0 win.
Andy Limbert and Mike Lewis were in great form for the home side and took all three rubbers in straight sets for a total of 90-31.
Clifton 'B' visited Market Weighton in men's three with only two pairings, yet still managed a 5-4 win. Clifton's match-winners were Mark Screeton and Stuart Robertson, who took all three rubbers in straight sets for a return of 90-35.
Drax 'A' entertained Riverside 'A' in mixed one and easily won 9-0.
Riverside conceded three rubbers by being a pairing short and then a further two owing to injury. Scott Anderson and Gayle Bradley top-scored.
Rowntree 'B' scored a last-gasp 5-4 home win over Knavesmire 'A' in mixed two. Mark Barker and Joan Emmerson took the vital confectionery maximum for a total of 106-52.
However, it was left to Barbara Walker and Dennis Barker to seal the win bonus points with a 15-10, 17-14 success over Carol Bell and John Major.
Shepherds and Drax 'C' fought out a tough match in mixed three before Shepherds won through 6-3.
The best display came from Drax's Dennis Bradley and Angie Spivey, who took two Drax wins and lost out to the home side's best pairing, Sean Ogley and Lisa Metcalfe, 9-15, 13-15.
Sue Scott and Garry Turner put in an excellent display for YUSC 'B' when they entertained Tadcaster 86 in mixed four and won 5-4.
Scott and Turner took three staff club wins for 90-47, including the match-winning eight where they beat L Young and M Parks 7 and 4.
YUSC 'B's next match saw them travel to Drax 'E' and again win 5-4, this time assisted by the fact Drax were only able to field two pairings.
Jeremy Bowman and Pat Gregory took three Drax wins for 105-74, including a tough 15-10, 15-17, 15-13 over Sue Scott and Garry Turner.
Huntington 'B' continued their winning streak in mixed four with a 6-3 away triumph over Pocklington 'B'.
Architects of the Huntington victory were John Deighton and Carolyn Arden. They took three wins for 98-53, including an 8 and 6 over Derek Burt and Wendy Arnold, who took two home wins.
