City of York Under-15 girls competed in the Yorkshire Youth League at South Elmsall, where their 'B' team gained a fine title triumph.
Playing in the 'C' division, City of York 'B' opened with a 1-1 draw with Leeds 'A', Emily Grimbley scoring after moving up from defence to midfield.
They next beat Leeds 'B' 3-1, led by a hat-trick from Charlotte McDermottroe.
The last match was against Wakefield 'B', who had beaten both the Leeds sides.
City of York started off well and took the lead through Julia Megone but Wakefield quickly replied.
Just before half-time Charlotte McDermottroe put City of York in front.
Despite chances, neither side could add to the score, ensuring the York ranks clinched the title to their 'A' team in the 'B' league.
The 'A' ranks maintained their 'B' status despite starting off with a 6-0 defeat to eventual champions Driffield.
Against Slazengers, who had previously beaten them, York scored through Sarah Clay for an half-time lead. But Slazengers levelled.
In their last game against Adel 'B' they fell behind to a well-taken goal but the team were not to be denied as Clay equalised.
