YORK Leeper Hare League division two title challengers Hamilton Panthers and Heslington served up a stormy game which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Stuart Dickinson, with a penalty, and John Thornton twice put Heslington in front only for Andrew Shepherd and Danny Dews to give the Panthers a share of the points.
Barmby Moor and Huby also shared the spoils with a 3-3 draw.
John Durrant struck twice for Huby in the first half but Tom Rastall headed Barmby back into the game before half-time.
In the second half, a goal from Durrant's brother Martin looked to have won the game for Huby, but Rastall struck again and Tom Gibson hit the equaliser.
Poppleton's home game with Stillington also looked to be heading for a draw with the sides level at 2-2 at half-time but the home side ran riot after the break to complete a 7-3 win.
Matt Graham and Ben Lister hit the first half goals and the second half marksmen were Jim Brannigan, Simon Hunt (2) and Craig Suttle (2).
Amotherby & Swinton entertained Norton Utd in a division three derby and won 5-0 with all the goals being scored by the Baxter brothers.
Steve Baxter recorded a hat-trick, while brother James came on as substitute and scored twice.
Wilberfoss thumped York RI 5-0, courtesy of a four-star second-half display.
An own goal gave 'Foss a slender half-time lead, but Robin Walker, Richard Ramshaw, Shaun Hodgson and Pete Norman struck goals after the break to seal the win.
Paul Stephenson, Steve O'Mahony and Gordon Campbell hit goals at Marton cum Grafton to give Selby RSSC a 3-1 win. Nick Tart replied for Marton.
Current leaders Moor Lane had to come from behind to beat Rawcliffe Rangers 5-2.
Darren Heels and James Sanderson had given the Rangers a 2-1 lead at the interval. Two penalties from Simon Gains and goals from Paul Jones, Danny Yates and John Kennelly finally saw Lane home.
Martin Halliday struck the only goal after 35 minutes at Sheriff Hutton to give Wheldrake the win.
