PICKERING Town's FA Vase adventure was brought to an end at the fourth round stage for the second successive season following their 3-2 reverse against St Blazey.
A three-goal first half salvo effectively put the game beyond the Pikes, although they did set up a grandstand finale.
Alex Wilgrass had levelled matters after the visitors had taken a second-minute lead, but by the break St Blazely were 3-1 up.
Pickering continued to push and probe, but despite Matthew Wood pulling a goal back with ten minutes to go St Blazey held on.
Selby Town, who have been hit by injuries and suspensions, slumped to a 3-0 defeat at home to Liversedge in the Northern Counties East League premier division.
The visitors controlled most of the first half and only a good goalkeeping performance from Matthew Potter kept Selby in the game.
Andy Cygan did put the ball in the net on the half hour but it was ruled out for offside.
Liversedge took the lead after 64 minutes through Andy Markham and although Alan Jackson and Ryan Carmody both went close for the Robins shortly after, James Nestor and Mark Brady wrapped the game up.
Harrogate Railway hit top form as they thumped Borrowash Victoria 6-3.
Kevin Smith and Steve Davey netted two apiece, while Jimmy Gore and Mattie Flynn completed the rout.
Tadcaster Albion remain in the division one re-election zone after they fell to a 2-0 defeat against Gedling Town.
The nine-match winning run of Harrogate Town was brought to an 2-1 end by Droylsden in the UniBond League premier division.
On-loan Robert Herbert netted the only goal for Town, who had Simon Sturdy dismissed in the first half.
