AN EMPLOYEE suffered a suspected fractured leg in an accident at PandB Fabrication at the Marston Moor Industrial Estate at Tockwith.
An ambulance spokeswoman said the Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called out following reports that a large lump of metal had fallen on the man's leg, yesterday afternoon.
But he was eventually taken to hospital in Harrogate by road ambulance.
A spokesman for the firm said it was thought at first that the man had been hit by some metal, but it had emerged later that he had broken his ankle simply after falling back.
