Unbeaten IT Sports Wigginton kept on course for the Yorkshire premier squash league title after defeating Huddersfield 5-0.
Previous champions of the league only three seasons ago, Huddersfield now find themselves fighting possible relegation from the league.
Local trio Ian Tooms, skipper Matt Lowery and Jamie Hopwood all enjoyed 3-0 wins over Jamie Sutcliffe, Amir Khan and Neil Baldwin respectiveley. Veteran Duncan Walsh recovered well to defeat Mark Francis 3-1, while ever-present Paul Hargrave toppled Paul Thomas 3-0 to seal the match. Wigginton's next game is at home to Hull and East Riding on Wednesday, January 22 (7.30pm start).
