These three, each with new and typically forthright sleeve notes by Ian Anderson, are more than 25 years old, but are a must for any Tull fan. The upbeat War Child came first in 1974, and this CD version contains seven bonus tracks which were omitted from the original vinyl because of space constraints. A year later Minstrel In The Gallery appeared, recorded in Monaco and marking a turn towards more acoustic music. In CD form you get five bonus tracks. Finally, 1976 saw Too Old To Rock released, most of which had been intended as a soundtrack to a never-filmed musical. Two bonus tracks. Ian Anderson toured America in 2002 and a string of dates are arranged for this year. Too Old to Rock? Never...
