THE Knights' Christmas draw and New Year's Eve party together raised more than £1,000 for club coffers.
That means the fund-raising events team, a branch of the fans' committee, has now brought in more than £3,000.
Events co-ordinator Phil Seymour said: "We're over the moon with what we've raised so far, and everyone has had a good time as well, so thanks to everybody involved. Events will continue through the year and we will be thinking up new ways to relieve people of their hard-earned cash."
Top prize in the Christmas draw of a bike donated by York Cycleworks, was won by Phil Fletcher, of Huddersfield.
Second prize of a microwave went to Don Officer of Haxby, while the CD hi-fi third prize went to Alison Dowker of Acomb. All winners will be contacted in the next week.
