BUSINESSES around the county are being invited to enter the annual Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (Rospa) occupational health and safety awards.
The awards, which help to promote the importance of safety in the workplace as well as reduce the number of accidents, are open to all sectors of industry including service industries, research, and transport as well as local authorities, warehousing, health services and manufacturing.
Companies can receive the merit, bronze, silver or gold certificates with the ultimate accolade - the Sir George Earle trophy - being presented to the overall winner at the Safety and Health Expo at Birmingham NEC in May.
For entry details, phone Rospa on 0121 248 2000.
