THE York City Supporters' Trust is continuing to work behind the scenes to help find a solution as the deadline to save the football club fast approaches.
And the fans' body has urged supporters to guard against complacency as it looks to help North Yorkshire's only professional Football League club to survive.
With just two weeks to go before the make or break deadline set by administrators, Trust chairman Richard Snowball said: "The future of our city's football club may end in a few weeks time unless someone provides a solution.
"The Trust is working to help provide a football club for the future generations of York to be proud of, but we cannot do that alone."
During the past couple of months, representatives from the Trust have been involved in numerous meetings and discussions with various parties who could yet play a key role in helping City survive.
They include the City of York Council, the directors of Bootham Crescent Holdings, the former owner of the club and the company that owns the ground, other supporter groups, property developers, planning and legal specialists, the club's administrators, local MPs, businesses and potential investors.
Snowball said: "While we have had some positive discussions with some of the parties, there is no absolute guarantee that a solution will be found in time to save the club.
"We urge all those people who want to help maintain the club as an asset for the city to act now to do all they can."
Snowball maintained the club could be sustainable if its finances are 'managed properly and it spends within its means'.
