THESE are the faces of two men wanted by police in connection with a string of knifepoint shop raids in Harrogate over the Christmas period.
Detectives in the town have released these images taken from CCTV footage in a bid to identify the suspects.
Five raids, including two in the same day, have seen shop assistants threatened with a kitchen-style knife. Small amounts of cash were stolen each time.
Some of the raids were carried out by a lone offender, others by two men. Police believe all these offences are linked.
Both offenders were said to be white men, about 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build. They had black woolly hats pulled down over their faces. One is said to have a drawn, gaunt face, with a prominent jawline and a marked, possibly pockmarked, face. The raids happened between December 19 and 27. Anyone with information is asked to phone Harrogate police on 01423 505541.
