Former Yorkshire Cricket Club cricket chairman Tony Vann has become the eighth candidate to nominate himself for one of the four elected places on Yorkshire's new members' committee which will be finalised at the club's annual meeting at Headingley in March.

Vann was one of the longest serving members of the general committee which was abolished last month when the Management Board took control of the club.
