AN EAST Yorkshire corporate software provider has announced expansion of its Gold Partnership network following a recent recruitment drive.
Pocklington firm VMS, which supplies and installs complex Sage accountancy software, has created a network of partners across the north of England in order to exchange sales leads.
Of seven potential new partners briefed by the company, three candidates signed up to the scheme.
Andrew Lazell Consultancy based in Lytham St Anne's, C-A-Solutions of Greenhalgh, near Preston, and Oakhouse Technical Services, of Northowram, near Halifax, have all agreed to join the partnership network, which now has 14 members. The remaining four companies that attended the briefing are expected to come on board during the next month. Helene Heyes, area manager for VMS, said: "The Gold Partnership has been a huge success for us and has been of great benefit to our partners. The fact that so many of the attendees at our latest briefing have signed up to the network just goes to show what an attractive proposition it is.
"The network now stretches from Anglesey to Bridlington, from Sheffield to Sunderland, and is growing in influence with every new member we gain."
Gold Partners are typically accountancy firms offering basic Line 50 Sage software to their small business clients. By agreeing to join the network they can offer a much higher level of software to larger companies through VMS in return for sales leads on the Line 50 product.
