VISITORS to a vintage motor show at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate today were being greeted by a motor industry hero, the Michelin Man.
The life-size character, otherwise known as Mr Bibendum, is celebrating his 104th year as the company's mascot.
The outfit is being modelled for Evening Press photographer Garry Atkinson by Adrian Pipiros.
In the background, Bonhams motoring specialist, Stewart Skilbeck, who lives at Selby, looks on from the passenger seat of a 1929 Humber Tourer car.
The one-day show and sale features cars, bikes, and motoring memorabilia.
The Michelin Man outfit was expected to sell for more than £500, while the Humber was likely to go for between £8,000 and £9,000.
