YORK City Baths Club's Hannah Petts had a clean sweep of medals in the Winter Yorkshire Championships at Sheffield.

She won the 11 years 100metres butterfly, took silver in both the 200m individual medley and 100m breaststroke and bronze in the 100m freestyle. She was also fourth in the 100m backstroke.

Sophie Calpin, 12, struck gold in the 100m butterfly and finished second in the 100m breaststroke.

Robert Kinnell took York's other gold in the 13 years 100m breaststroke.

York's 40-strong squad also won six silver and four bronze medals at the Ponds Forge pool with 27 swimmers reaching finals and 114 personal best times achieved.

Alice Sunderland, 12, was second in the 100m butterfly and freestyle with two bronze finishes in the 200m IM and the 100m backstroke.

Rachel Eastaugh, 11, picked up silver in the 100m backstroke and bronze in the 200m IM.

York's other finalists were: Lucy Recchia, 11, 4th 200m IM, 6th 100m butterfly; Michelle Moffatt 11, 4th 100m freestyle, 8th 200m IM; Bradley Swainston, 11, 4th 50m backstroke; Chris Burns, 11 5th 100m backstroke, 6th 200m IM; Andy Fowler, 13, 5th 100m breaststroke,, 7th 100m backstroke; Jessica Craig, 10, 6th 50m breaststroke; Gareth Thomas, 11, 7th 50m freestyle; Alex Fowler, 10, 8th 50m breaststroke and Fiona Siddall, 12, 8th 100m freestyle.

Other York swimmers posting personal best times were: Patrick Good, Louis Calpin, Stephen Clark, Georgia Mellors, Olivia Houghton, Sophie Glasby, Lauren Horsman, Georgina Holland, Daisy Bedford, Dani Horsman, Olivia Lawrenson, Becci Jenkins, Katie Feehan, Laura Hunter, Luke Hutchinson, Ashleigh Husband, Laura Cuttill, Anna Horwell, Kate Hollier, Lauren Mason, Jo Feasby, Eilidh Macdonald, Hannah Waterfall, Kris Howe, Will Peake-Vout, Matthew Holmes and Chris Holmes.
