A MINI town complete with a hospital, supermarket, and fire station, made just for toddlers, has opened at an East Yorkshire school.
Monty's mini town, for two to four-year-olds, was unveiled at Pocklington Montessori school.
The play area allows children to bike around the internal roads and visit the different mini facilities.
PC Steve Atkinson, from Pocklington Police Station, Dr Ian Richmond, from Hull Royal Infirmary, sub-officer Steve McMillan, from Pocklington Fire Station, joined Safeways manager David Charlton and Tyke Petroleum manager Mike Boorman to open each section of the town.
Sue Yeates, from the school, said the children loved the new facilities and as well as providing somewhere to play, the internal roads also helped them to be more aware of road safety issues.
