AT its next meeting, on Wednesday, October 16, Huntington parish council will make plans to hold a further public meeting about the many traffic and Green Belt issues affecting our area.
Details about this public meeting, to be held in December in Huntington, will be widely publicised.
We hope it will be as well attended as the July meeting at which the impact of planning proposals on Monks Cross and New Lane were fully exposed - no less than three-quarters of the entire commercial development and one third of the entire residential development for the whole of York - all in this small part of Huntington! Watch this space.
Coun Peter Vaughan,
Chestnut Court,
The Old Village,
Huntington, York.
