HELLO folks. Evening Press here -- possibly for the last time.
I think my racing days could be at an end after I ran out of puff again at Catterick this week.
I just can't put my hoof on where I'm going wrong.
On the gallops I can fly like the wind, but I just get so nervous when I'm in the stalls on the course.
This last race was one-and-a-half miles and I just found it too tough on the undulating ground.
It looks like being my last race on the Flat this year and my trainer, Tim, doesn't reckon I'm big enough to go over the sticks.
I think I might have to have a change of career and pay a visit to the Job Centre soon.
I know, I'll check out the bumper jobs section in the Evening Press next Wednesday.
I know the Jockey Club are looking for a new head of security so I might just trot down to Portman Square to see if I can get an interview.
Anyway, thanks for all my fan mail over the last two season -- its been nice talking to you all.
Regards,
Evening Press
