YORK City youth team striker Levent Yalcin has received another international call to arms.
Yalcin, who will be looking to shoot City's juniors into the second round of the FA Youth Cup tomorrow, has been selected for the Turkish Under-19 squad to face Egypt in a double-header next month.
The young Turkish squad and Yalcin, who made his first team debut for City last month, will play Egypt twice: on Friday, November 1, and on Sunday, November 3.
Both games will be played in Egypt.
City have confirmed fellow youth team striker Luke Ibbetson has been cut free by mutual agreement.
Ibbetson, who is in the third and final year of this scholarship with the club, is still technically signed to the club but is free to try to fix up a deal with another club.
It is understood Ibbetson may currently be on trial with Halifax Town.
